It is not always easy to reply to all the emails I receive, with requests for interviews, surveys, studies, and questions on the regional dimension, my activities as an author, my experiences as Diplomat or Secretary General or simply as expert of the European bubble in Brussels.

This website is intended as a first answer to your questions. It provides initial insight into the European decision-making process in Brussels. It offers a perspective on the day-to-day activities of Brussels-based networks, and my publications offer additional information on regional lobbying.

These books (see the “Publications” section) are a pragmatic and direct result of my professional experience over the past 14 years at the heart of Europe. They are the logical step after my publication “Did you say Europe?” and lectures on the European institutions I gave between 1995 and 2001 after I finished my thesis in political science.
